Moscow, Russia (SPX) Nov 29, 2005 Alexander Medvedev, the director-general of the Khrunichev Space Center has been dismissed, the center said in a news release Monday, reports RIA Novosti. Vladimir Nesterov, who was previously in charge of launch operations, land infrastructure, and cooperation at the Russian Space Agency, has been appointed to the post. Prior to the appointment, Nesterov worked as head of Roskosmos' Department of Delivery Vehicles, Ground-Based Space Equipment, and Cooperation.
