BAE Systems offloads Saab stake

London (AFP) June 8, 2011

British arms manufacturer BAE Systems said Wednesday that it had sold its stake in Swedish defence group Saab for �152 million (170 million euros, $249 million).

"BAE Systems today announces the disposal of its Saab AB shareholding," the British group said in a statement.
