Worlds tallest bridge clears load capacity trials

A convoy of 96 trucks weighing a combined 3,360 metric tons completed the final load-bearing test of the Huajiang Grand Canyon Bridge on Monday, confirming the structural readiness of the worlds highest bridge before its planned September opening. The large-scale test simulated traffic congestion across the 2,890 meter long structure, including its 1,420 meter main span.
