iDirect Launches Global Edge Connect Wi-Fi Over Satellite Solution
Chicago IL (SPX) Jun 07, 2005 iDirect Technologies has announced the launch of their new Global Edge Connect solution to deliver last mile, wireless connectivity via satellite. Global Edge Connect is a complete wireless ISP solution that will incorporate a comprehensive carrier-class, scalable OSS solution from industry leader Pronto Networks. This new Wi-Fi over satellite solution will allow iDirect's service provider customers to easily and inexpensively deliver broadband service to rural towns and villages, campus environments, coastal regions, or any zone where mobile data is important. The complete platform offers service providers a cost-effective, end-to-end solution that will enable them to quickly enter the market, expand their footprint, and achieve a rapid ROI.
