San Diego - Feb 11, 2003 The Titan Corporation announced Tuesday that it has been awarded a cost-plus award fee contract by Lockheed Martin's Management and Data Systems, having a value of $29 million through March 2008. Under this award, Titan will develop a significant portion of the Advanced EHF (Extremely High Frequency) Mission Planning Element software and provide systems engineering in support of that development. Lockheed Martin Missiles and Space is the prime contractor for the U.S. Air Force Space and Missile Center's Advanced EHF Satellite Communications System. "This award underscores Titan's software design capabilities and unique domain expertise in the development of highly complex, communications planning software for MILSATCOM Systems." said Gene Ray, Titan's chairman and CEO. "We are pleased to support Lockheed Martin in this important national security program."
