Third Space Tourist Will Fly To The ISS In October
Moscow (SPX) Jul 07, 2005 The third space tourist, Gregory Olsen, will fly in Russia's Soyuz spacecraft to the International Space Station in October, a spokesman for the Federal Space Agency (Roskosmos), Vyacheslav Davidenko, has told Itar-Tass. "A contract between Olsen and Roskosmos has been signed lately, and the American tourist has been approved as a member of the ninth visiting mission to the ISS," he told Itar-Tass on Wednesday. Olsen trained for a space mission in the Star City outside Moscow last year, but was then sidelined for medical contraindications.
