Technica has been awarded a max-value $22 million U.S. Air Force cybersecurity contract, the company announced.

Under the task order, the company is to provide airborne networking, systems, processes and operations, and network defense to support cyber readiness and cyber security to the Combined Air Operations Center--Experimental.

Technica will ensure that critical networks and systems remain mission ready, the company said in a statement.

The contract has a base year value of $4 million and includes three option years.

Among other duties, Technica will also upgrade data storage infrastructure with enhanced virtualized capability, offer predictive data analytics to mitigate cyber vulnerabilities, provide-end-to-end enterprise intelligence and standardize system management processes for more efficient and effective reporting.
