Talk Your Way Into Space

Sunnyvale - November 5, 1998 -
Talkway Inc, an enriched Usenet discussion service, has launched its 2001 Space Miles Sweepstakes that could see one of Talkways newsgroup users winning a trip into space on Zegrahm's X-Prize contender Space Cruiser.

Talkway members will earn miles for passage on Zegrahm Space Voyages's first commercial space flight in 2001. The program commenced on the Talkway site, October 26 and will run through January 15, 1998. Users who accumulate 2001 or more space miles during the two-month period will be eligible for a drawing to win a ticket on the Zeghram Space Cruiser.

"By participating in Talkways Supercommunity service, the impossible becomes possible," said Tom Chun, President and CEO of Talkway Inc. "Anything from going to space, selling a car, finding old vinyl records, a backgammon partner, or even locating that old southern chicken recipe your great grandmother took to her grave. No matter how impossible a task it may seem, among the 20 million people at Talkway, someone will have an answer."

2001 Space Miles Sweepstakes

To partake in the Space Miles Sweepstakes, users can simply go to www.talkway.com and participate in their favorite discussion groups. Space miles will be earned for registering, posting messages in newsgroups and for getting friends and colleagues to sign up for a free Talkway membership.
