Russia's unmanned Progress M-10M spacecraft undocked from the International Space Station (ISS) on Saturday for its return to Earth.

The freighter detached from the platform at about 13:04 Moscow time [09:04 GMT], ending six months of operations at the ISS.

It landed in a remote part of the southern Pacific later in the day.

Progress had made important deliveries providing 2.5 tons of supplies for the crew on board the ISS.

The next freighter will be launched from the Baikonur Space Center in Kazakhstan on Sunday.
