Russia hails progress in arms reduction with US
by Staff Writers
Moscow (Voice of Russia) Nov 05, 2012

More with less.

Russia is satisfied with the implementation of a strategic offensive arms reduction treaty with the United States, Deputy Foreign Minister Sergei Ryabkov said in a newspaper interview on Sunday.

He added that Russia was ready to negotiate with Washington also the terms of an agreement to slash the two countries' tactical nuclear weapons, but only if the Americans move all their remaining nukes stationed abroad.

Russia would like other nuclear powers to join in the talks.
