Wellingborough, UK (SPX) Feb 04, 2005 Sarantel will supply its award winning GeoHelix global positioning system (GPS) antenna to RoyalTek, where design and performance can now be combined as one in GPS wireless products. The superior performance and its high sensitivity were the decisive factors for RoyalTek in integrating Sarantel's GPS antenna into its new GPS Pocket PC product for worldwide distribution under well-known brands. Sarantel's GeoHelix GPS antenna will enable RoyalTek's new Pocket PC to offer GPS functionality by delivering accurate positioning in a range of difficult and hostile environments, helping users to plot routes and locate services quickly and easily. RoyalTek's new Pocket PC is compact and lightweight with an integrated GPS receiver powering a complete GPS navigation system. An embedded SD/MMC card slot ensures ample data storage for mapping and application software. A full array of GPS features, including detailed maps, routing, points and directional information, makes this handheld device convenient for pedestrians and cyclists. Its bright, high-resolution color LCD makes viewing ease at any time of the day. With the exceptional miniature size, GeoHelix was certainly the main contribution to an attractive consumer PDA with seamless integration of GPS capability.
