Norsat Supplies Satellite Equipment for Broadband Project in China
Burnaby - Nov 12, 2003 Norsat International Inc. said Tuesday that Dynamic Engineers Inc. purchased an additional 350 Norsat VSAT transceivers as Phase-2 of an ongoing project totaling $1.5M Dollars to date. The transceivers are being used as part of a program to deliver broadband communications to remote regions in China. Dynamic Engineers is a privately owned international electronic component distributor specializing in RF communication packages that first started employing the Norsat transceivers in their broadband VSAT terminals in 2001. "This order represents the ongoing growth in the Asian broadband VSAT market and our continued trust in the quality and performance of Norsat products," said Roland Teoh, President of Dynamic Engineers. SkyTerra Announces Plans To Separate Into Two Public Companies
New York (SPX) Sep 23, 2005SkyTerra Communications announced Thursday that it plans to separate into two publicly owned companies: SkyTerra, which would solely hold SkyTerra's current stake in each of Mobile Satellite Ventures and TerreStar Networks; and a newly formed entity that would own all of SkyTerra's other assets including its managing interest in Hughes Network Systems. |
