The London Satellite Exchange is the first online marketplace for the satellite telecommunications industry. The company brings buyers and sellers together, helping buyers find the right satellite capacity for their particular needs and helping sellers find new markets and risk manage their capacity. Satellite capacity is ordered or posted for sale by simply filling out the forms on the company's web site.

The Exchange's traders also provide advice on the purchase or sale of satellite capacity. Traders are able to undertake the whole process of obtaining requirements, preparing technical surveys, opening the bidding, preparing the link budgets, pre-negotiating the contract terms and finally bringing the two parties together in a well defined framework.

Like E-Sax, GSatX "offers businesses a central point for buying and selling satellite communications bandwidth, capacity and services.
