Tampa FL (SPX) Oct 05, 2005 Sypris Electronics, a subsidiary of Sypris Solutions, has announced that it has been selected by Lockheed Martin Commercial Space Systems, to manufacture electronic circuit card assemblies for Lockheed Martin's A2100 commercial satellites as well as for various government programs. A Lockheed Martin Star Supplier - Perfect Product, Sypris Electronics has produced more that 12,000 space qualified assemblies for multiple Aerospace customers over the past decade. The Company recently opened its new NASA-STD-8739 certified Space manufacturing operation within its Tampa, Florida facility. As Lockheed Martin's Space electronics manufacturing partner, Sypris Electronics anticipates producing electronic assemblies for four to six satellites per year. Bob Sanders, President of Sypris Electronics, stated, "We are extremely pleased and proud that Sypris Electronics has been selected by Lockheed Martin as a manufacturing partner for their critical Space requirements.
