Israeli Microsat Shipped To Svobodny For Start-1 Launch
Moscow (Interfax) Nov. 16, 2000 Preparations for the launch of an Israeli micro satellite are nearly complete at Svobodny space center in Amur region. About one hundred Israeli specialists are helping in the preparations to launch the first EROS satellite, Major General Alexander Venidiktov, head of the Svobodny space center, told Interfax. The satellite will arrive at the launch site from Israel in the next few days. The satellite will be launched by a Start-1 after testing is completed within a month. Venidiktov said that the space center has an agreement to launch seven EROS satellites next year.

Orbcomm's Equity Financings Complete
Bremen, Germany (SPX) Jan 06, 2006OHB Technology affiliated company Orbcomm has announced that it has completed equity financings totaling over $110 million led by Pacific Corporate Group (PCG), which committed $60 million. New investors, in addition to PCG, include investment firms MH Equity Investors and Torch Hill Capital. |
