Bellingham WA (SPX) Sep 16, 2004 Integral Technologies announced Wednesday that it has entered into a non-exclusive license agreement with AIRSIS for the right to market and manufacture Integral's "Segmented Planar Antenna with Built in Ground Plane" (US patent number 6,717,550). Integral's ultra small, ruggedized, low-profile antenna is designed specifically to serve the growing market for Orbcomm-based telematics applications. At a height of less than one inch, Integral's flat panel antenna addresses the market demand for a low-profile antenna for trailer tracking and other applications with low clearance requirements. Integral's plastic optimized, small footprint, "ruggedized" satellite antenna, measures only 13.25 inches by 9.90 inches, and .870 inches in height. The term "ruggedized" describes the durability of this antenna, including its ability to withstand extreme environmental conditions, while also enduring significant shock and vibration elements. This new antenna's primary use is in mobile asset tracking and fleet management, utilizing GPS/Satellite coordinate tracking, combined with two-way LEO/satellite data communications. "We are delighted to be able to offer Integral's flat panel antenna to our customers and partners," said Dean Rosenberg, President of AIRSIS. "Our customers have been demanding a solution for reliable satellite data communications in a low-profile package, and we are now able to meet this growing need." Commenting on the agreement with AIRSIS, Thomas Aisenbrey, Chief Technology Officer of Integral said, "We are very pleased to have completed this license agreement which calls for an 8% royalty." Aisenbrey went on to say, "We believe that AIRSIS, as a leading Orbcomm reseller, will have great success with this technologically advanced antenna within the AIRSIS market place."
