First Nation Brings IP To Remote Canadian Communities

C-COM Satellite Systems Inc. has announced a strategic partnership with Toronto based Infinity Heritage Technologies Inc., to bring C-COM supplied DirecWay 2-Way High Speed Satellite Internet service to First Nation and remote communities.

Customers can now purchase the 2-Way High Speed Satellite System directly from Infinity Heritage. Together, the two companies will offer a wide range of cost-effective High-Speed Internet services for First Nation and remote users throughout Canada.

"First Nation communities will find tremendous benefit in our DirecWay solutions for both Commercial and SOHO applications," said Leslie Klein, President and CEO, C-COM Satellite Systems Inc.

Orbcomm's Equity Financings Complete

OHB Technology affiliated company Orbcomm has announced that it has completed equity financings totaling over $110 million led by Pacific Corporate Group (PCG), which committed $60 million. New investors, in addition to PCG, include investment firms MH Equity Investors and Torch Hill Capital.
