EDA Awards Patria And Instrumentointi Oy UAV Study Contract

Patria, with Instrumentointi Oy as a co-contractor, has been awarded a contract for an Unmanned Air Vehicle study by the European Defence Agency. This is the first technology study contract for the Agency's work on Long Endurance Unmanned Air Vehicles covering "Digital Line of Sight & Beyond Line of Sight Data Links".

The contract is a significant acknowledgement of the long-term Data Link development co-operation between Patria, Instrumentointi and the Finnish Defence Forces. Additionally this is an important strategic break-through for international markets within this field.

The Patria led consortium offers extensive combined technical background and ex-perience in the area of the study, facilities for development, production, integration, testing and maintenance, qualified personnel and completed project references.

Proxy Aviation Systems recently announced the United States Air Force (USAF) Unmanned Aerial Vehicle Battlelab (UAVB) sponsored and cooperated in a demonstration of SkyForce, Proxy Aviation's unmanned aircraft system.
