Melville NY - Apr 14, 2004 Comtech Telecommunications Corp. said Tuesday that its Maryland-based subsidiary, Comtech Mobile Datacom Corp., has recently received $3.7 million of additional orders for mobile satellite transceivers, ruggedized computers, and satellite service time relating to its Movement Tracking System, or MTS, contract with the U.S. Army Logistics Command. These orders bring the total orders on the contract to-date to approximately $96.7 million. Fred Kornberg, President and Chief Executive Officer of Comtech Telecommunications Corp., said, "The continuing strong level of MTS orders will contribute to fiscal 2004 being a record year, not only for our mobile data communications segment, but also for Comtech." Comtech Mobile Datacom Corp., a Germantown, Maryland-based company, is engaged in the provision of satellite-based packet data communication systems and location and messaging services.
