Melville - Oct 09, 2003 Comtech Telecommunications Corp. said Wednesday that it has recently received an aggregate of $14.2 million of new orders for mobile data communications equipment and services. The orders were awarded to the Company's Maryland-based subsidiary, Comtech Mobile Datacom Corp. The orders include the supply of mobile terminal transceivers, satellite services, operation of the satellite packet data network, and associated systems and support. These orders relate to Force XXI Battle Command Brigade and Below - Blue Force Tracking (FBCB2-BFT), a battle command real-time situational awareness command and control system. Fred Kornberg, President and Chief Executive Officer of Comtech Telecommunications Corp., said, "We are pleased to continue our participation in the Blue Force Tracking program. These orders are further acknowledgement of the important role our technology has played in this program."
