Companies taking part in Iraq's second bid

On December 11 and 12, Iraq's oil ministry is unveiling the list of companies awarded contracts to develop 10 oil fields across the country, in its second bid round since the US-led invasion of 2003.

Here is a list of the 44 international companies involved in the auction:

'Saudi, Israel tie-up' in Turkmenistan
