Middletown - Apr 07, 2004 Coachmen Recreational Vehicles will offer KVH's TracVision LF in-motion satellite TV antenna and TracVision SF stationary automatic satellite TV antenna as optional equipment on all new Sportcoach Elite diesel motorhomes. In addition, each new Sportcoach Elite motorhome will be pre-wired to support the TracVision satellite TV antennas should customers wish to add one of these award-winning systems in the future. Coachmen is the most recent OEM customer to choose KVH's TracVision antennas as standard or optional equipment aboard new recreational vehicles. "We are extremely pleased that Coachmen RV has chosen TracVision as the in-motion and stationary satellite TV option for its customers," said Ian Palmer, KVH's vice president of satellite sales. "This decision reflects the continued recognition among RV manufacturers that TracVision products are the premier satellite television systems available today. We look forward to working with an industry leader like Coachmen to bring live, in-motion satellite TV to RV owners and passengers around North America. Our shared commitment to quality and customer service helps ensure that the needs of our customers are met." TracVision LF is an in-motion, domed satellite TV system designed specifically for OEM integration and easy factory installation. It is compatible with the DIRECTV, DISH Network, and ExpressVu services and provides access to more than 300 channels of digital satellite TV programming and commercial-free music wherever the vehicle is driving or parked in the continental United States or Canada. The TracVision SF offers the same reception capabilities as the TracVision LF but is designed for use when the vehicle is parked. An in-motion upgrade is also available for customers who wish to convert their TracVision LF to an in-motion system.
