Ovzon has secured a renewal order from Aicox Solutions, its Spanish partner, for the provision of SATCOM-as-a-Service. The extension, lasting six months, is scheduled for the first half of 2024.

This renewal pertains to the SATCOM-as-a-Service Plus package, which includes comprehensive solutions like satellite bandwidth, Ovzon T6 mobile satellite terminals, and dedicated customer support and service. The renewal caters to a critical client in the Civil Defense sector, which has been utilizing Ovzon's services since January 2023.

"We are very pleased to have received this first renewal in Spain. This order is an important step in solidifying our position with current customers in Europe. We continue to work closely with our partners to meet our customer's high demands and demonstrate the unique value of Ovzon's SATCOM-as-a-Service, which will soon be further enhanced when our first own satellite Ovzon 3 enters into service by mid-year 2024", says Per Noren, CEO of Ovzon.

Ovzon, a global leader in integrated mobile satellite communications, offers its SATCOM-as-a-Service to customers worldwide, combining high throughput satellite networks, mobile terminals, and dedicated support. Its services cater to sectors demanding mission-critical connectivity, including Defense, National Security, and Public Safety. In January 2024, Ovzon's self-developed geostationary satellite, Ovzon 3, was launched from Cape Canaveral, FL. Established in 2006, Ovzon is headquartered in Stockholm, Sweden, with additional offices in Herndon, VA, and Tampa, FL, USA, and is listed on the Nasdaq Stockholm Small Cap.
