Military plane crashes in Turkey, three killed Ankara (AFP) Jul 27, 2006 A military airplane crashed Thursday in central Turkey, killing the pilot and two soldiers on the ground, the general staff said in a statement. The jet, a United States-made F-5A, crashed shortly after takeoff from a military base in the city of Konya, the statement said. The cause of the crash was not yet known.
