Embraced by Hollywood celebrities and beloved by environmentalists, the Prius has long been the envy of Toyota's rivals, but now its safety woes risk putting the brakes on the success of hybrid cars. Areva, EDF reach nuclear waste deal
Paris (AFP) Feb 5, 2010
French energy groups Areva and EDF have reached an agreement on the treatment of nuclear waste following weeks of tensions, the companies announced Friday. "The two companies will sign a contract before the end of the first quarter of 2010," the said in a joint statement.
