Convergence Ethanol Delivers Intelligent Filtration System To CA Oil Refinery
Los Angeles LA (SPX) Feb 14, 2007 Convergence Ethanol has delivered its latest Intelligent Filtration System (IFS) to Chevron's El Segundo, Calif. oil refinery. This advanced filtration system improves the production of cleaner-burning, reduced-sulfur motor fuel, supporting refinery environmental improvement goals. Born of fourteen years' oil and gas filtration engineering experience, IFS integrates previously separate units into a dynamic filtration system. Engineered for ease of operation and maintenance, it gives the refinery exceptional and coordinated control. Ecological benefits of the energy-efficient design include a dramatic reduction in the volume of hazardous waste. Britain Opposes European Targets For Renewable Energy
London (AFP) Feb 13, 2007Britain has told European Union energy ministers that it opposes European Commission plans to set binding targets on renewable energy generation, The Guardian reported on Tuesday. The daily cited a leaked position paper sent by Britain to the European council on energy, which meets on Thursday in Brussels, where the issue is set to be discussed. |
