Five killed in Israeli raids in eastern Lebanon Baalbek, Lebanon, Aug 7, 2006 Five people were killed and 30 wounded in a series of Israeli air strikes in the east of Lebanon around the city of Baalbek, security and civil defence sources told AFP. Four people were killed and 23 wounded in the village of Brital south of Baalbek city when several houses collapsed after air raids, civil defence soruces said. One person was killed and seven wounded in a separate strike on the the village of Shmistar, southwest of the city, which is considered a Hezbollah stronghold.
