12 dead in Kfar Giladi attack all soldiers: Israel army
Kfar Giladi, Israel, Aug 6, 2006 All 12 Israelis killed in a rocket attack near the town of Kfar Giladi close to the Lebanese border Sunday were soldiers, the military confirmed. They were all members of a reserve infantry unit who were camping close to a kibbutz, the army said. It was the single deadliest rocket attack since Israel launched its offensive in Lebanon on July 12. Five soldiers were also wounded, two of them seriously. Dutch inspectors find many safety problems with NATO aircraft
The Hague, Aug 5, 2006 Dutch inspectors found last year numerous safety problems on planes rented by NATO transiting the country, including those transporting troops, the ANP news agency reported Saturday. |
