Bus explosion in China kills 11 Beijing, Aug 3, 2006 An explosion on a bus in southwest China on Thursday killed 11 people and injured at least 15 others, state press reported. The incident occurred soon after the bus left the local terminus in Tianzhu county, Guizhou province, Xinhua news agency reported. Six people were killed instantly and another five died in hospital, where 15 other injured people were being treated, it said. The report said the reason for the explosion was still being investigated, and that the number of people on board the bus was still unknown. Local police were not immediately available to comment.
