Shell India plans floating LNG plant
New Delhi (UPI) Feb 12, 2013
Shell India will invest $1 billion for a floating liquefied natural gas terminal off the coast of India. The company is building the facility on the port of Kakinada, in the state of Andhra Pradesh in a joint venture with Reliance Power Ltd. Shell already has a 3.6 million-ton LNG import facility in Hazira, India.
