Sinopec increases stake in LNG
Brisbane, Australia (UPI) Dec 13, 2011
China's state-owned oil giant Sinopec plans to increase its equity interest holdings in Australia Pacific LNG by 10 percent, a company official said. The deal builds upon April's agreement for APLNG, a joint venture between Origin Energy Ltd. and ConocoPhillips, to supply Sinopec with 4.3 million tons of liquefied natural gas a year for 20 years.
