Bush administration scraps updated fuel efficiency rules

Australia's Santos, Apache in 1.3 billion gas deal with Citic

Australian energy company Santos Wednesday said it and joint venture partner Apache had signed a contract worth an estimated 1.3 billion US dollars to supply natural gas to a Citic Pacific project. Santos said the gas would be delivered to Citic's Sino Iron magnetite mining development in Western Australia from the offshore Reindeer gas field off the state's resource-rich Pilbara coast. ... more
